Gor is a small town in the Sierra de Baza. It was my first stop in the search for a new home in Spain. Were it not for the winter weather, it would have remained a candidate. One November morning I looked out the door and, for a moment, thought I was back in Aroostook County. We packed the car, low shoes slipping in two inches of snow and headed for the Costa Blanca.
